Meguiars cone does the job...

I really like this wheel polishing cone. I was skeptical about buying this cone as I have always cleaned and polished my wheels by hand in the past (with the exception of the mothers power ball) that I really didn't use due to not liking it very much.

After polishing my wheels with this polisher and the included wheel polish I noticed a considerable difference in the level of overall shine as opposed to before I used the combination of products. I liked the feel of it too, looking at it in the box I was a little nervous that it might be too big but compresses nicely and the size is actually more of an advantage because you cover more ground quicker.

Remember to thoroughly CLEAN your wheels prior to thinking this is going to perform a miracle. You wouldn't polish the paint on a dirty car the same rule applies to anything you polish and it will save you the hassle of having to spend extra time cleaning up this pad after use.

Highly recomm ended...

This pad can seem bulky and clunky at first, but as you use it more you grow accustomed to it.

This kit really works. I didn't have any issues with shipping and both the polish and cleaner were still sealed and no leakage. I polished the chrome wheels on my '08 Buick Enclave and they look amazing now! This is after 5 years of never having been polished and been driven on gravel roads. After polishing, the cone looked filthy, but the cleaner really worked after I let it soak for about a couple hours. Definitely recommended!

This cone is definately better tham Meguires, but like the other, it is too soft to get in the really pinched crevasses of your rims. Hence the 4 stars. Also, as others have stated, the bottle of "cleaner" for the cone was empty. It had lost it's cap, and leaked the contents of the bottle all over the other items that were packed in the same box. One of them was my wifes Caberet Blu ray anniversary edition DVD. Don't know who to blame on this one, Meguires, Amazon, or the person who PACKED all of the expensive items into one box. There have been many complaints about this "leaking" situation, and if Amazon was doing their job, this sitution should have been resolved by now. Just sayin'.
